TAB Testing Technician
TAB TestingBalCon is seeking a TAB Testing Technician to help building owners, contractors, and designers achieve proper balance of their HVAC systems. You will perform testing, adjusting, and balancing of commercial and institutional HVAC systems.
Responsibilities
Perform air and hydronic balancing on commercial HVAC systems
Conduct pre-construction design reviews
Calibrate control valves, balancing valves, and flow meters
Validate temperature controls accuracy
Provide detailed reports and documentation
Qualifications
Experience with HVAC systems and TAB testing
NEBB or AABC certification preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Lab Safety Technician
Lab SafetyBalCon is looking for a Lab Safety Technician to join our growing team. This role involves performing annual inspections, certifications, and maintenance on fume hoods, biosafety cabinets, laminar flow hoods, and other critical lab equipment.
Responsibilities
Perform fume hood certifications and ASHRAE 110 testing
Certify and service biological safety cabinets to NSF standards
HEPA filter integrity testing and replacement
Clean room certification and particle counting
Provide 24/7 emergency response services
Qualifications
2+ years experience in lab equipment service or related field
NSF/ANSI 49 certification preferred
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
